There are several aspects about the holiday season to love. The good food, family time, and cheery atmosphere are usually regarded as the commonalities. However, as a Floridian, a break from the especially hot weather can almost always be considered a positive as well. Although the cold isn’t too extreme, this time of year is still deemed the offseason. The beaches aren’t as packed and the waters aren’t as crowded, but that doesn’t mean they still can’t be enjoyed.
TrueBlue Pontoon sees no reason why you can’t still be out on the water!
Despite the fact that it’s the offseason, we are still proud to offer pontoon rentals to our valued customers. Our launching zones are located on Okaloosa Island and Fort Walton Beach, and are only 18 minutes away from the beautiful Crab Island! We offer pontoons that can comfortably sit up to 12 adults and our watercraft can be reserve starting at 4 hours.
Be sure to pack just as you would during the summer – with the addition of a jacket! Don’t forget your sunscreen or a towel. Just because the temperature has dropped doesn’t mean the sun’s rays aren’t any less of a problem. Additionally, on the warmer days while the sun is high in the sky, don’t be afraid to take a dip. Just be sure to have your towel and a jacket packed! Once the sun begins to set the weather will obviously get a little nippy, so we recommend having the necessary articles of clothing to stay warm.
The winter months in the panhandle aren’t as grueling as some other parts of the country, and you should be taking advantage! There aren’t many places where you can comfortably boat during the winter. Luckily, the Emerald Coast is one of them. Contact us today to reserve a pontoon for a relaxing day on the water in the middle of the winter! Come make the most of your holiday season.
