Call FWB For Reservations
Spring is almost here, and everyone wants to get on the water for some sun and fun. We’ve been cooped up this winter enough. It’s time to rent a pontoon from TrueBlue Pontoon, and you’re on your way.
You can motor around Choctawhatchee Bay and Destin Harbor for hours and not get tired of the emerald green water and white sand Fort Walton Beach and Destin offer.
The most famous spot everyone wants to visit is the Crab Island sandbar. You can drop anchor and spend the day playing in the water and relaxing. Time permitting, you may want to go across the Bay to Lulu’s restaurant, located on the water just past the Mid-Bay Bridge. While you’re there, check out the Legendary Marina Whaling Wall, painted by Wyland. It’s one of only 100 such seascapes that depict life-size marine life.
If you just want to spend more time relaxing, Okaloosa Island lies just past Crab Island to the west. You can anchor past the Coast Guard station and play in the water. Don’t forget to watch for dolphins that will be putting on a show.
When evening arrives, check out Destin Harbor, the Harbor Boardwalk and HarborWalk Village. The Harbor has beautiful lights, while the Boardwalk and the Village offers great dining and shopping. Be sure to stop and check everything out.
When the day is almost over, stay for the spectacular sunset Mother Nature provides here on the Emerald Coast.
